My PROVEN Best Way to Lose Weight

My name is Jenny and I’m a 26 year old receptionist.  I’m pretty normal.  I grew up in a Northeastern city.  I did okay in high school.  I had a couple close friends.  I was never SKINNY, but I wasn’t fat either.  I got accepted to a decent college in Boston.  That’s when I got addicted to food.

For a while, I didn’t know what to do about it.  Actually, I began to eat MORE after this realization.  I know other ex-fat friends who say the same thing.  Sometimes, when you realize your fat, you tend to get lazier, or tend to fall deeper into it.  That’s what I did.  I felt like there was no hope.  I wasn’t athletic.  I wasn’t about to start hitting the gym and run 3 miles everyday.  I was just a normal, college-educated project manager at a small publishing company in the city.

I’m not Cindy Crawford.  I never will be.  But fat?

After months of fruitless worrying and killing myself over my weight, I was beginning to think that there was no “best way to lose weight,” that everything out there required either too much work or too much money.  The best way to lose weight?  A myth, I thought–and I just kept eating, and getting fatter.  There was no real end in sight.
